A Bit About Andrew

Andrew Cossey is an environmental consultant with six years’ experience in the implementation and management of site investigations, remediation and risk-based assessments related to geotechnical and environmental engineering. Andrew holds a Batchelor of Arts and Batchelor of Science with Honours in environmental science and works within the contaminated land team at WSP Australia.

PFAS impacted soil disposal can be onerous, time consuming and costly due to PFAS leachability driving classification, as well as thermal treatment costs. A soil reuse example is presented that is supported by risk assessment and takes advantage of opportunity for management within future infrastructure development at a brownfield site.
