Brooke
Brooke is an Environmental Scientist for the Arcadis Environmental Restoration & Advisory Team. Brooke has experience in environmental and risk assessment investigations at contaminated sites across Australia. Her Masters thesis on the ecotoxicological impacts of plastic pollution has given her the knowledge to advocate for plastic to move to the forefront of the contaminated land industry’s watch list.

Plastic is a ubiquitous and durable pollutant. It is a physical threat; it accumulates and biomagnifies POPs; and it is a vector of contamination between environments. It is reported in all environmental media, and found in human and ecological receptors. So why isn’t plastic represented in our legislation and our environmental investigations within the CLM industry?
