A Bit About Chris
Chris is currently the Managing Director for EHS Support Pty Ltd and principal hydrogeologist with over 20 years’ experience. Prior to becoming a hydrogeologist, Chris was a keen meteorologist and was struck by lightning in Darwin whilst obtaining weather observations for the Weather Channel on Foxtel/Austar. This enlightening moment convinced Chris to understand water under the ground and he completed his Thesis understanding the behaviours of groundwater in fractured Rock aquifers of the Barossa and Clare Valleys in South Australia. Yes, several wineries were involved. Chris has since worked as a hydrogeologist in public (CSIRO) and private sectors and has a passion for understanding how groundwater can be sustainably managed whilst not inhibiting progress.
