Petroleum hydrocarbon is a common soil contaminant found in many countries. Biochar has gained relevance in the remediation of petroleum-contaminated soil. This study examined the role of biosolids-derived biochar on the remediation of diesel-contaminated soil over 22 weeks. Biochar application has a prospect in remediation of petroleum-contaminated soil.
