Nathan Northby is an Environmental Engineer with four years’ experience in environmental consulting. Nathan has utilized his engineering skills to gain significant experience in contaminated land management and remediation, including assisting in the implementation of large scale remediation projects across Australia, including assisting with in-situ design and development of hydrogeological assessments and models.

Enhanced In situ bioremediation (EISB) can be an effective and cost-effective remediation option, however what may work theoretically may not always be the case when it comes to field implementation. This abstracts aims to highlight key lessons learnt from the field from experience on several large EISB projects throughout Australia.
