A Bit About Francois
François Beaudoin is an engineering geologist with 21 years of experience in the field of environmental consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Geological Engineering degree (B.Eng.) from École Polytechnique de Montréal and is a project management professional. During his career, François Beaudoin has been involved in a wide range of projects across multiple geographies which have allowed him to develop a solid expertise in contaminant hydrogeology, site remediation, sustainability and climate change, hazardous materials management and air quality. He has contributed to a large number of studies for clients in the real estate, manufacturing, oil and gas, transportation, and waste sectors, as well as for national defense clients. He has held the role of senior project manager for a large number of multi-disciplinary projects, including large-scale and complex projects, as well as emergency response projects. Since 2012, François Beaudoin has held several leadership roles, including business group leader, key client account manager, and team leader at the North-American level. He is a seasoned trainer, mentor and communicator, who is passionate about teamwork, technical excellence, innovation, and integrating sustainability principles in everything he does. He is one of the founding members of the Sustainable Remediation Forum of Canada. He currently holds the position of EHS compliance business group leader for Eastern Canada at GHD Consultants Ltée. He is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. Prior to working with GHD, he was an associate and project director at Golder Associates Montreal office.
