Presentation Details

Most practitioners dismiss In situ thermal remediation from any conversation regarding sustainability on the basis of the amount of energy required to meet project temperature goals. With the recent shift from focus on sustainability to that of resilience, the conversation around in situ thermal remediation is vastly different. At sites with significant (NAPL) and complicated source zones, there are few technologies that can eliminate source mass in short timeframes, prior to exacerbation due to unpredictable future change.
