Presentation Details

Identifying community stakeholders and deciding how and when to ‘inform’, ‘consult’ and ‘involve’ them in PFAS projects can be critical for the success of the investigation and remediation phase, while also being a key factor in social license to operate on the site into the future. Drawing on lessons from JBS&G’s PFAS work and wider involvement in Australia-wide stakeholder engagement and consultation projects, the presenter will outline a good practice approach to community engagement which is replicable across any PFAS or broader contaminated land or groundwater project
