A Bit About Scott
Scott D. Warner is a Prinicpal Hydrogeologist with the USA-based environmental consultancy, BBJ Group, and has 36 years of global experience in consulting hydrogeology and groundwater remediation. Scott has a BS in Engineering Geology from the University of California, Los Angeles (USA) and MS in Geology/Hydrogeology Indiana University, Bloomington (USA) and is working on his PhD with the University of Newcastle, NSW Global Centre for Environmental Remediation (funded by CRC CARE) on remediation design and hydrobiogeochemistry under influence of climate and hydrologic change. Scott has beeen a frequent lecturer at conferences and at academic institutions in North America, Europe and Australia. He also is a State-accredited geology, engineering geology and hydrogeologist in California (USA). Scott was a lead designer for the first global commercial and full-scale permeable reactive barrier composed of zero-valent iron (1994) for treatment of groundwater contaminants. He has since been a designer and leader on numerous "first in the world" PRB designs and other passive and sustainable remedial measures.
