A Bit About
Shervin
Shervin Kabiri is a Research Scientist at the University of Adelaide, where she works on emerging contaminants' (PFAS) fate and transport in soil, and their immobilisation in soil. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering with over 10 years of experience in material and environmental science. She has recently established her own research group at the University of Adelaide focusing on the systematic monitoring of PFAS immobilisation in soil and the development of new techniques to monitor their fate and transport in the soil.
Presentation Details
This presentation will report the application of rapid and cost-effective Mid-infrared spectroscopy (MIR-NIR) on the sorption and desorption of PFAS from soil.
