A Bit About Tom

Dr Tom Statham is a senior environmental engineer based in Melbourne working with AECOM Australia. He completed a cold climate remediation design doctorate at the University of Melbourne. Between 2019 and 2022, Tom was based in France, working as a remediation engineer and project manager for the discussed site.

Presentation Details

While NSZD is currently gaining acceptance as an LNAPL remediation option, there are very few publicly available case studies where the remediation focus has successfully transitioned from active LNAPL recovery to monitored NSZD. A case study of such a transition is presented here for a petroleum-impacted site in northwest Europe.
