A Bit About Will
Will is an Environmental Engineer who uses a broad range of skills developed throughout a 25 year career to find remediation solutions that allow for the repurposing of contaminated sites for future use. Remediating land so that it can be repurposed provides great sustainability outcomes for society by minimising urban sprawl, revitalising cities and preventing the destruction of virgin land for new development. Ensuring that this can be done safely and sustainably is one of Will’s passions.
Presentation Details
The presentation provides an example of Enhanced In-situ Bioremediation (EISB) at a site impacted with chlorinated hydrocarbons. The project was a good example of teamwork and communication allowing for the most appropriate remediation technology to be selected, trialled and subsequently implemented. The contribution of the entire team and communication throughout resulted in the successful delivery of the project.
